Carcassonne: The Four Seasons – The Winter

The Winter is part of the 4 Seasons tile series, with individual illustrations. You can use the tiles to enlarge the game board or as a small mini-expansion. It's especially cold in winter, so we'll be keeping a close eye on the Waylayers to make sure they don't freeze Scoring points (base game variation) For highwaymen and autumn tiles that are vertically, horizontally or diagonally adjacent to the winter tile you have placed, you immediately receive 2 points. You receive no points for the winter tile you just placed. Scoring points (Winter-Edition Variation) For highwaymen and wild animals that are vertically, horizontally or diagonally adjacent to the winter tile you have placed, you immediately receive 2 points. Statue tiles You will find 1 statue tile in each of the 4 Seasons. The following rule applies to all 4 statue tiles of the 4 Seasons: If your tile is vertically, horizontally or diagonally adjacent to a statue tile of the 4 Seasons after being placed, you may place 2 meeple on this tile in different areas. -description from publisher's website
